PowerScore releases The GMAT Verbal Bible,
the ultimate guide to attacking the Verbal section
of the Graduate Management Admission Test®
PowerScore has just released the highly anticipated
GMAT Verbal Bible, the ultimate guide
for mastering the Verbal section of the GMAT.
This latest publication, which joins a considerable
lineup of best-selling standardized test preparation
materials published by PowerScore, was written
by David Killoran, founder of PowerScore, Steven
Stein, PowerScore’s Director of Educational
Development, and Victoria Wood, Course Developer
for PowerScore. Having worked with thousands of
students, the three authors bring over 40 years
of experience to the project.
The Verbal Section of the GMAT consists of 41
multiple choice questions stemming from three
question types— Reading Comprehension, Critical
Reasoning, and Sentence Correction. Test takers
have 75 minutes to complete the entire section.
The PowerScore GMAT Verbal Bible is the most complete
guide available to the entire verbal section of
the GMAT and provides comprehensive discussion
on all three Verbal sections. In addition to in-depth
discussion of the verbal concepts tested on every
GMAT, the book provides hundreds of practice questions,
with problem sets, conceptual drills, and extensive
analysis of test questions and answer choices.
With expansive sections on Critical Reasoning,
Reading Comprehension, and Sentence Correction,
the GMAT Verbal Bible provides effective approaches
to every question type in the GMAT verbal section.
The concepts and techniques discussed in the GMAT
Verbal Bible are drawn directly from the live
GMAT courses taught by PowerScore. As with all
their preparation materials, PowerScore relies
on the analysis of questions released from GMAC,
the producers of the GMAT. In order to best prepare
students, PowerScore feels the analysis of official
questions is vital to judicious GMAT preparation
because they best reflect the principles and protocols
utilized by the test makers. By carefully studying
and correctly applying the techniques presented,
students can expect an increase in their Verbal
score.
The GMAT Verbal Bible is available through PowerScore’s
website at www.powerscore.com,
as well as Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and
select retailers nationally.
