PowerScore Releases
The LSAT Reading Comprehension Bible
September 2008

PowerScore releases The LSAT Reading Comprehension Bible, providing innovative techniques for mastering the Reading Comprehension section of the Law School Admissions Test. Press Release Newswire

PowerScore has just released the long awaited LSAT Reading Comprehension Bible, a complete guide for improving reading comprehension. This latest publication, which joins a considerable lineup of best-selling LSAT preparation materials published by PowerScore, was written by David Killoran, the founder of PowerScore, and Steven Stein, PowerScore’s Director of Educational Development. The two authors have worked with thousands of students, together bringing over 30 years of LSAT experience to the project.

The Reading Comprehension section of the LSAT contains three long passages, 400-500 words each, and one pair of shorter, Comparative Reading passages. Passages on the LSAT are generally written in an academic style, one with which many students are not initially comfortable; “It’s not like reading a newspaper or novel,” says Killoran. “The test makers intentionally try to obscure the point.” The Reading Comprehension Bible introduces the VIEWSTAMP analysis, a new approach designed to highlight the most important facets of each passage. Killoran is excited about what this publication will mean for students seeking to improve their Reading Comprehension score. “It’s not all about reading speed,” says Killoran. “We can help you to become a more effective reader by teaching you what to look for.”

The Reading Comprehension Bible completes the LSAT Bible Trilogy published by PowerScore. The Logic Games Bible presents a uniquely effective system for mastering the Analytical Reasoning section of the LSAT, and The Logical Reasoning Bible details the PowerScore approach to the Logical Reasoning sections of the test. Combined, the three books provide a complete methodology for attacking the LSAT.

The LSAT Bibles are available through PowerScore’s website at www.powerscore.com, as well as Amazon.com and select retailers nationally.
