SAT Vocabulary Flashcards

The following 30 words appear in The Official SAT Study Guide more than any other vocabulary words. Open the Flashcard file and follow these directions to print your own set of flashcards.

CLICK HERE TO OPEN THE FLASHCARD PDF FILE

For Printers capable of printing double-sided:
Select the 2-Sided option from your “Print” dialogue box. Click “Print.”

If you have a printer that only prints on one side of the paper:
In the “Print” dialogue box, locate the selection box for “Page Ranges.” Begin by printing the odd pages. Some printers will allow you to select “Print Odd Pages;” on others, you must enter the actual page numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9) separated by a comma in the field for “Pages:.” Click “Print.”

Once the odd pages print, place the paper back in the printer so that the blank side will now be printed on (this usually means placing the blank side face up). Be sure that page 1 (adroit, ambivalent) will be printed on first, page 3 will be printed on next (callous, capricious), and so on. Go back to the “Print“ dialogue box, and either select “Print Even Pages” or manually enter 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 into the “Pages:” field. Click “Print.”

Cut your flashcards out along the solid black lines. For more durable flashcards, use heavier paper or cardstock.
