The LSAT Changes. We Change Faster.

The LSAT is always evolving — and so are we. PowerScore’s relentless focus on test trends has enabled us to accurately predict the content that appeared on 95% of LSATs since 2018. For our Live Online students, we build lessons and problem sets in real time based on what's actually on the most recent exams. That means you're always learning from the most relevant material available — and stepping into test day with a serious advantage.

What Our LSAT Course Students Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Take a Specific Upcoming Live Online Class Even If I’m Not Taking the Specific LSAT That’s in the Class Title?

Absolutely! The core lesson material, prep resources, and strategies that come with the Live Online Course are all evergreen and designed to be applied to any upcoming LSAT. The additional test-specific lessons that come with the Live Online Course are still helpful for students not taking that specific LSAT administration because it's a great way to get caught up with the most recent test content trends and real-time insight from our experts. If you see an upcoming class schedule that best fits your study schedule and timeframe, we encourage you to enroll even if you aren't taking the specific LSAT in the title. You can always purchase our test-specific ‟Homestretch” lessons a la carte for the specific LSAT you are taking when that test date is approaching.

How Many Months Should I Prepare Before I Take the LSAT?

There is no set time that it takes to prepare for the LSAT. It depends on many factors, such as how much time you can dedicate to studying, how quickly you can absorb the material, your strengths and weaknesses, and your target score.

Our LSAT Live Online Course schedules are typically 2-3 months long and are meant to provide you with a fully comprehensive, start-to-finish prep experience; but many students study prior to the course, and others continue to prepare following the course’s conclusion.

For our On-Demand Course, 3-4 months of consistent practice with the course material is typically recommended. However, that can vary based on how much time each week is dedicated to LSAT exam preparation.

Which Course Is Best for Me?

The Live Online Course is best for learners looking for a fully comprehensive LSAT prep experience that guides you from day one to test day with all the practice tools and resources you need in one place. This course provides the live, interactive nature of a typical classroom environment, along with a syllabus and lesson schedule that takes place over the span of 2-3 months, like a standard semester class schedule. Your assigned class instructor (all of whom have scored a 170 or higher on the official LSAT) will remain a consistent presence throughout the course in order to give you the roadmap you need to consistently build your skill set and confidence, answer your questions, and provide you with test-specific guidance every step of the way.

The On-Demand Course is best for self-motivated, online learners looking for instant access to a robust slate of LSAT prep tools that they can navigate at their own pace. This course contains all PowerScore’s LSAT strategies and our complete practice test platform, with the flexibility to prep on your own timeframe, without a pre-determined class schedule.

How Does Your Course Material Differ From the LSAT Bible Publications?

The PowerScore course lessons and the accompanying online prep resources are specially designed for a comprehensive prep experience. The course materials are exclusive and provided only to students who enroll in our course and are not sold separately.

The PowerScore LSAT Bibles are written as self-study tools that contain strategies and application advice for LSAT concepts. Our course materials are built around the same techniques and methodologies that have made the Bibles the most popular and successful books on the market, but are even more in-depth and adjusted to be accompanied by lesson instruction and interactive online practice. The courses also provide more drills and official test questions to reinforce the lesson material.

In short, the LSAT Bibles are an amazing tool for familiarizing yourself with the test and building a strong strategic foundation, whereas the courses are ideal start-to-finish exam prep experiences.

Do I Receive Any Physical Study Materials as Part of the PowerScore LSAT Course?

No, all prep resources and strategies can be found in the student’s Online Student Center, The Online Student Center contains our digital LSAT practice test platform accompanied by detailed score reports and performance feedback, lesson recordings, reading and video supplements, extensive homework and drills, question explanations, and more.

Are All of the Online Practice Tests Official LSAT Exams?

Yes, all online practice tests that we provide are officially licensed past LSAT exams, and our practice testing platform replicates what you will experience on test day.

Why Does PowerScore Require All of Their Instructors to Score 170 or Higher on an Actual Administered LSAT?

Why should we, or you, settle for less? The LSAT is one of the most intellectually demanding standardized tests ever developed. Our instructors, all of whom have scored 170 or higher, have proven that they fully understand the test themselves and are therefore able to focus more on teaching and supporting students because they understand the concepts that appear on the LSAT.

Our competitors with lower instructor standards often claim that teachers with high scores don't necessarily make the best instructors. We couldn't agree more! That's why we don't hire many of the qualified applicants we interview. When selecting instructors, we look for people who can patiently and effectively teach our course, interact well with our students in a classroom setting, and truly enjoy teaching. In addition, we put our instructors through a rigorous training program before they ever teach a real class. At PowerScore, we demand the best, and we expect our students to do the same.

Do You Offer Discounts?

We offer ongoing discounts on our LSAT courses for past PowerScore course students, members of the military, and Pre-Law Society members. If you qualify for a discount, please email contact@powerscore.com with your proof of membership or call us at 800-545-1750 to complete your discounted enrollment.

Should I Buy a Study Book to Use Before Classes Start?

Our courses are comprehensive and will fully prepare you for the exam. Therefore, purchasing additional prep materials and pre-course studying are not required!

Will PowerScore Provide Me With Any Help During the Law School Application Process?

For students looking for expert, comprehensive assistance as they apply to law school, we offer our comprehensive Law School Admissions Consulting programs. Our law school consultants provide help in all areas of the application process and continually counsel students on issues such as writing application essays, getting recommendations, and deciding which law schools to apply to and attend.
